IMPORTANT EAGLE SCOUT RANK CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE CHANGE
To follow the same pattern as required by the National office, NCAC will now be certifying all Eagle Scout Rank Applications prior to the Board of Review. This certification will ensure that all the Scouts’ dates, requirements, merit badges, and signatures are accurate before the candidate completes his Board of Review. We are requesting that units and individuals start this process as soon as possible. To allow everyone ample time to comply, it is recommended that all units begin using the certification process before September 1, 2010. Compliance with pre-Board of Review certification will become mandatory January 1, 2011.
